Live Auction by Federica Pellegrini for the Bergamo Hospital
Federica made available unique sports memorabilia, including some from the 2008 Beijing Olympics, which accompanied her during her legendary achievements in the pool. In addition, there were also clothes she wore for "Italia's Got Talent", produced by the clothing company Rossorame, an event partner. The proceeds, equal to 66,100 euros, were donated entirely to the ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo, who are working on the front lines against COVID-19 in a critically affected region. The proceeds made it possible to purchase ventilators and protective equipment (masks, headphones, gowns, disposable glasses) for Bergamo health personnel. They consist of over 800 brave nurses and doctors, providing care for patients affected by Covid-19 each day.

"IT WAS A SUCCESS BEYOND EXPECTATIONS"
The Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo received the proceeds from the auction. The auction was held at the Rossorame factory based in Martina Franca (Puglia, Italy) and its owners Bruno Simeone and Daniele Del Genio served as hosts. The 6enough platform allowed Federica Pellegrini, Frank Matano, and the owners of Rossorame to connect during the live streaming event from their respective offices, in compliance with current regulations.
Fifty-nine lots were offered for sale, including the goggles from Pellegrini’s Olympic Gold race in Beijing 2008 and those from the 2009 World Cup semi-finals in Rome, during which she set the world record (1'52 "98) that is still unbeaten today; clothes worn by Federica during "Italia's Got Talent"; and photographic panels autographed by Federica, kindly provided by the DeepBlueMedia photo agency.
